During warm long summer nights, the festival "La Fête du Cognac" perfectly combines local food, lovely wines, cognacs (!) and interesting music. Thanks to about 450 volunteers this is a great place to have a good time together with many locals. "Mottin charentais", a cheese from the area Poitou-Charentes, is served melting hot with honey.
