We had stayed in the "Hôtel de Bordeaux" already a couple of times and actually just cannot travel within the Saintonge without a stop. The restaurant run by Cornelia Mueller is one of the best in the region. It was closed for renovation for about 8 months - but was reopened just a few days, before we arrived.
Faux filet grillé, pommes de terre au four, crème aux herbes fraîches
