Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille - Elephant Tuba Horde

Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille is known by musicians as this is the place of the "Festival du Monastier" (aka "Festival de Cuivres"), a great meeting centered around "brass".
40 concerts - in 7 days (!!) - in a town with a population of below 2000. Volunteers and a supporting community of music lovers make this festival possible.
Wow! The name "Elephant Tuba Horde" is precise, as the sound pressure level can indeed be "elephantine"! The musicians are masters! The tuba, an often somehow "neglected" brass-instrument, is turned into solo-instruments.
Anthony Caillet (euphonium), Jean Daufresne (saxhorn), Tom Caudelle (saxhorn), Camille Geoffroy (saxhorn), Francois Thuillier (tuba), Lucas Dessaint (tuba) and Julien Paris (drums) produce a phantasic, awsome sound. Great music!
