Vals-les-Bains is one of the many old spas in France, that were so trendy once and by now are nearly forgotten. The "Valsois Hydrotherapy" and the virtues of the mineral waters of Vals were internationally renown in the 19th and early 20th century. Meanwhile, lots of efforts are taken to bring back the tourists by offering wellness and - the mineral water. The old "Grand Hotel Des Bains" offers "demi-pension" to its guests!
