During three warm long summer nights, the festival "La Fête du Cognac" perfectly combines local food, lovely wines, cognacs (!) and interesting music. Thanks to about 450 volunteers this is a great place to have a good time together with many locals. We had seen and listened to DeRobert & The Half Truths already a year ago in Saint Paul Trois Chateaux, where the had their first show in Europe. Though the brass session of the backing band was smaller this year, DeRobert performed a warm, raw soul - with power. He got the audience dancing.
