With the support of many enthusiasts and volunteers Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux hosts the "Saint Paul Soul Jazz" festival already since more than 10 years. The stage is erected in front of marie in the center of the small town (pop 8700). The festival´s logo is screened onto the walls of the old cathedral´s apse during the warm summer nights. Oxen Players are local heroes here. The band is based in Pont-Saint-Esprit, just 20 kms west on the other side of the river Rhone and some of the musicians come from Saint Paul.
