"Sainte Marie d'Alet", seen in the tresor of the parish church, was in the abbey-church, before it got ruined. The small ivory statue in the back was a present to Alet from Francis I of France (= François Ier).

I have seen a similar, elaborate carving style in Aragon, south of the Pyrenees. Actually an identical capital is on display insde the neighbouring parish church, so this may be a copy.
