"Saint Giuliana", seen at sunset. A Cistercian nunnery was established here in 1236. The convent´s church "Saint Giuliana" was built in 1253.
During the the Napoleonic period, the nunnery was surpressed and the church was used as a granary. The convent became a military hospital, and still it remains in military ownership. though the church is open for Mass each Sunday.
