This was another early cluniac priory in the "Montagne bourbonnaise", dating back to the XI century. It offered support and security to the pilgrims, following the Chemin de St-Jacques, that run through the valley.
All buildings of the priory, and the second half of the church Saint-Léger, built light-coloured lime
stones got lost. One of the few corbels under the roof tiles depicts this sunbathing, bearded man. Fallen asleep.

All buildings of the priory, and the second half of the church Saint-Léger, built light-coloured lime stones got lost. So the structure, now the parish church, is pretty short.
