In 1148 a church here, dedicated to the Virgin, belongs to the possessions of the priory Saint Magloire in Léhon. Circular and octanogal churches (eg. Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre, Laon, Montmorrilon, Eunate, Torres del Rio, Tomar, Zadar, Drueggelte..) are surely inspired by the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and often connected to the Knights Templar, but - there is no proof here.
