The VW T1 was the first model in the VW Bus series, whose models are officially known as VW Transporters. After the VW Beetle, internally Type 1, the VW Bus is the second series of the VW factory for civilian use and is still produced today as the VW T7. The Transporter was developed from 1949 and brought to market maturity in 1950. The Transporter was the market leader during its production period. One of the first motorhomes was built on its basis. A total of 1.8 million T1s in various versions rolled off the production line. Production of the T1 in Germany ended in 1967 with the start of production of the successor model, the VW T2. It continued to be built in Brazil until 1976.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith was built by Rolls-Royce from 1938 to 1939 and supplied as a rolling chassis to independent coachbuilders. In 1938, 492 chassis were produced. Although the chassis were not produced until 1939, vehicles with delivery and registration dates of 1940 or later are not uncommon. The last Wraith was delivered in 1947. Today, the Wraith is popular with wedding celebrants.
