Arlempdes - Saint-Pierre

Arlempdes is a small village just 30kms north of the spring of the Loire river. It is so quaint, that it belongs to the "Plus beaux villages de France". The parish church dedicated to Saint Peter, erected in the 12th/13th century, got remodeled in the 16th century, when the bell gable ("clocher-mur") was added. To the left the walls of the ruined castle.

Lamothe-Fénelon - Saint-Sixte

The parish church Saint-Sixte has a nice "bell tower" (= "clocher-mur"). This was once the church of a priory dependent on the Benedictine abbey in Souillac. No structure of that priory, but this church, still exists.
