Dyce - Old Parish Church

16 Jan 2025 22
Dyce Old Parish Church, built in the 13th or 14th century, stands on a promontory in a bend of the River Don and from the north side of the kirkyard the ground falls steeply to the river. The ruined building is a simple rectangle and hosts the Pictish Dyce Symbol Stones. This carving is probably a century older than the neighboring cross slab (prev upl)
