Venice (ital. Venezia) is one of the most important tourist destinations worldwide with about 30 million visitors each year. I have already uploaded dozens of shots from previous visits, so I´ll try to cut down the number of uploads this time. Burano consists of four individual islands separated by canals and connected by bridges. Originally there were five islands separated by another canal. However, this has been filled in. Today, less than 3000 people live here. Since the 16th century was known for laces, that were produced here, today the traditional colorfully painted houses attract tourists.
