The parish church of Baugy, dedicated to Saint Pons, dates back into the 11th century. The church on a little hill, overlooking the Loire river, is archaic - and still pretty much intact. It hs some nice carvings.
Here is a nice monkey, that seems to be "younger" than that one just seen in Charlieu. That would mean, that the corbel was added later to this church.
