During warm long summer nights, the festival "La Fête du Cognac" perfectly combines local food, lovely wines, cognacs (!) and interesting music. Thanks to about 450 volunteers this is a great place to have a good time together with many locals. "House" may it be "deep" or "electro" is not exactly the style of music I really love, but it was good to witness the enthusiastic young crowd.
