The 41st edition took place from June 29 to July 13, 2022.
Herbie Hancock (born 1940) is an American jazz pianist, keyboardist, bandleader and composer. He was a member of the Miles Davis Quintet. During the 1970s, Hancock experimented with jazz-fusion, funk, and electro styles, using a wide range of synthesizers and electronics. During this time he released the album "Head Hunters".
Hancock's best-known compositions include Cantaloupe Island, Watermelon Man, Maiden Voyage and Chameleon.

Herbie Hancock shocked me personally when, in the mid 80s, after I had spent months in the Pacific, I reached Pago Pago, where an American showed me the "Rockit" video. Within seconds I realized that somewhere something had happened, and I had missed it. It wasn't just the strange electric sound, as shocking where Jim Whiting's twitching electric bodies were.
