Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille is known by musicians as this is the place of the "Festival du Monastier" (aka "Festival de Cuivres"), a great meeting centered around "brass". 40 concerts - in 7 days!! "La Bande Magnetique" mixes contemporary Jazz with ska and reggae elements what creates a very groovy sound. The contrabass, not common in such an ensemble, fits perfectly. Here saxophonist Gaël Horellou, who is a "local hero" in Le Monastier has joined the "La Band Magnetique". This kind of "jamming" is very commmon during the festival.
