sol[25] - eclipse types

31 Mar 2025 6
BBC infographic illustrating the different types of solar eclipse - when the moon passes between the earth and the sun. . I have seen several partial eclipses [the first one when I was at Primary School] and this one in 2025 is the most recent. [2015, 2021, 2024, 2025]. I was fortunate enough to travel into the line of Totality when we were on holiday in France. [11th August 1999] That was awe-inspiring, it really was. [Pre-digital so prints only, must scan them from the holiday album]{my late father was in Poland[?] for an Esperanto event and also observed totality}. . not my image : fair use & public information

Useful info-graphic from the BBC, showing the visible levels of the partial eclipse tomorrow [29th March 2025] I'll be a little way south & east of the middle red line. Fingers and toes crossed for good weather. I've got my camera & eye protection all ready ! . not my image : fair use & public information
