Postcard / montage of the old Haltwhistle War Memorial Hospital. This Edwardian villa style building [Greencroft House] became the town hospital in 1922, a maternity wing was born in 1939 and in 1948 the hospital became part of the NHS. The War Memorial in front of the building is grade II listed.
