And with 34 state felony convictions and bans on entering 37 countries ... that's a decent artwork ...

Lovely piece of artwork on the wall in the Coquet Tea Room [Amble] - the large shells, pebbles and fence are actually items stuck to the painting and some of the "gravel" is tiny shells. {Assembleage ?}
My image, but not my artwork - which was on display ...
{CTR was our second choice as the first place was too crowded for another four people and a small dog - several single people at four seater tables, and a few people "working" on laptops / tablets - maybe we should try & book next time as it is getting more popular}

trump has denigrated US military & veterans on a number of occasions. Clearly he doesn't actually understand the concepts involved in patriotic military service, but probably understands the profit motive in the support industries [like makers of ammunition]. Which is why I can't understand his antipathy for supporting UKR, who have been getting older / obsolete - but still viable - material from stockpiles, which will need replenishing ...

To my surprise, the camera managed to capture the details of this artwork of the Alston Arches, which I didn't really see so well by eyesight.
MoW - artwork in glass

It took me several minutes to work out what this piece of glass artwork really represented.
It hangs in the window of the Chatterbox Cafe, in St John's Chapel, a small village in Weardale.

It's three cyclists, one in a yellow shirt ... representing the Tour of Britain.
Quite a few places have yellow bicycles displayed, in celebration of the Tour passing through a settlement.

IoM[3] - corn dolly ?

Piece of public art on the North Quay of the Inner Harbour at Douglas ...
It raises a few eyebrows, for different reasons, from people looking at it. Having thought about it again, I don't like it, although I admire the techniques used.
IoM[3] - mosaic shield
13 Aug 2023 |
|
One of several mosaic features tucked away in part of the sunken garden. This one is a representation of the typical heraldic shield ... I don't know if it is a recognised device or coat of arms.
Sadly, most of them have lost at least a few of the pieces from which they have been made.
The smaller flowers growing here are calendula - marigolds - that seem to be at least partially self-seeded.
IoM[3] - mosaic butterfly

A mosaic artwork butterfly in the sunken gardens on Douglas Promenade.
I think this is an artistic interpretation rather than truly representative.
I don't know how old these mosaic works are, but time and the weather are breaking pieces off them. Several other examples were badly damaged.

Instead of dumping a few broken spanners and other items in the scrap / recycling bin, a little practice in welding created some artwork. These two pieces were just by the entrance into the main building.

The "Cairn o'Mohr" fruit winery (which is near Errol) have this handpainted artwork on their van, which caught my attention. We were visiting as the in-congress excursion from Dundee.
Note : the winery name is an audio pun in Scottish English.
