This large black bundle of fur is a Newfoundland. He had been swiming earlier and after a good drink he also had a plain ice cream. He was very relaxed, which is just as well as he was getting a lot of attention. When he laid down he took up much of the pavement between the table and the boards.

This made me smile. We have a collie, that likes to keep the family together when we are out and about. And I know just how much most collies like to keep practising ... so I thought that the black hay bales had been subjected to a bored collie !

Hasn't come out very clearly - but there are seven pups having a nap in that tube. Two are black and the remainder are sealpoints.

A group of zwartles ewes and lambs. Dutch breed, but not common in the UK.

Gerbils normally live for less than three years, this is "Pepper" (black, male) just after his fourth birthday. He was still quite lively, so a cupped hand was always the best way to hold him, he wouldn't stay still !
