Art and Life Magazine was published by Lockwood Studios, an art school located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Most issues feature art and illustration by correspondence students and aspiring artists, as well as anatomical studies and other features. The covers occasionally featured actors and actresses of the day – some whose names endure, and others lost in time. Featured on this June 1926 cover is Helene Denizon, who appeared in a few films such as 1933's The Mild West.
