Watseka Theatre – Watseka, Illinois – 2000 Unfortunately, this stunning art deco masterpiece has seen better days, despite occasional attempts to restore it to grandeur. Its condition had worsened, as of the last sighting.

Unfortunately, efforts to save the beautiful DuPage Theatre in Lombard, Illinois met with continual difficulty and corruption, and it finally succumbed to the wrecking ball a year or two ago. Photo February 2000.
