2006 built Hunslet "Jack Lane" leads "Sybil Mary" along the straight at the Statfold Barn Railway spring gala. The event was blessed by continuous sunshine which isn't bad for early March.

Orenstein & Koppel 10750 of 1923, "Max", was sent to the Sragi sugar mill in Java, Indonesia where it worked into the early 2000s. It is seen here at the Statfold Barn Railway where it was restored to steam in 2014.

K1 at the crossing

The original Beyer Garratt, K1, which was supplied to the Tasmanian Government Railways in 1909 for use on the North East Dundas Tramway. Repatriated by Beyer Peacock in 1947 the locomotive was restored to steam in 2004 and used to an extent on the Welsh Highland Railway. After its boiler certificate expired in 2014 it had to wait until 2020 when it was overhauled by the Statfold Barn Railway where it is likely to remain for a few years with a few excursions to Wales. It is seen here approaching the footpath crossing out in the fields at Statfold Barn during a 30742 Charters event.

Fowler built 0-4-2T 'Saccharine' of 1912 is hard at work on the Statfold Barn Railway. This locomotive was originally exported to South Africa where it worked in the sugar cane plantations of Natal Estates.

More action from the Statfold Barn Railway with a short and eclectic freight train with Krauss built 2 ft gauge 0-4-2T (Works No. 4045, 1899), Sragi No.1 leading Orenstein & Koppel (Works No. 10705, 1923) 0-6-0WTT Max, Sragi No. 14. Both locomotives originally worked at Sragi Sugar Mill, Pekalongan, Central Java.
