Een advertentie voor een pond jong belegen (kaas) op de Dappermarkt in Amsterdam. Alleen, hoeveel kaas krijg je voor een pond, oude aanduidingen zoals pond of ons zijn niet niet toegestaan. Oude maten werden bij de invoering van het metrieke stelsel in 1820 gedecimaliseerd, zo werd een kop 1 liter, een duim 1 cm (was 2,3-2,8 cm) en een ons werd 100 gram (was 26-32 gram). Ook het pond (430-498 gram) bleef eerst als 1 kilogram, later werd het pond verdeeld. In 1869 werden alle oude benamingen officieel afgeschaft en vervangen door de maten van het SI. Maar vraag bij de slager een ons ham en je krijgt 100 gram ham (of meestal iets meer). Dus de vraag is hoeveel kaas krijg je als je bij de kaasboer om een pond kaas vraagt? The Sunday Challenge: Masker Reclamebord voor de Nederlandse loterij op de Dappermarkt in Amsterdam. Op het bord reclame voor drielaagse mondkapjes. Het bord suggereert nu dat mondkapjes nu een soort loterij zijn. De Nederlandse overheid kan op grond van de Grondwet geen plicht tot het dragen van mondkapjes in openbare ruimte opdragen. Organisaties kunnen dat wel aan hun bezoekers opdragen, ook al zijn deze organisaties openbaar toegankelijk. Zo is in het OV het dragen van mondkapjes verplicht. – – – The Sunday Challenge: Mask Commercial billboard for the Netherlands’ Lottery on the Dappermarkt in Amsterdam. The billboard now suggests: "Mouth masks ... from The Netherlands' Lottery can bought here!" as mouth masks are a kind of lottery ticket (!) Under the Constitution, the Dutch government cannot impose an obligation to wear mouth masks in public places. Organisations can, however, instruct their visitors to do so, even though these organisations are open to the public.
