Scavenge Hunt 26/50: Verkeersbord - Traffic sign - - - Tijdens de coronacrisis sloot Duitsland zijn grenzen met de meeste buurlanden. De grens met Nederland bleef open. Hier de grens op de oude hessenweg van Münster naar Deventer. De borden staan in Nederland, de fietsers zijn Duits maar zijn in Nederland, en ik, Nederlands, sta in Duitsland. Hoe zou het zijn met de privacy rechten van de fietsers? Gelden de Nederlandse daar ze in Nederland zijn of gelden de (strengere) Duitse want ik sta in Duitsland? – – – During the coronacrisis Germany closed its borders with most of its neighbouring countries. The border with The Netherlands stayed open. Here the border on the old ‘hessenweg’ (an old trade road used by wide wagons drawn by horses) from Münster to Deventer. The traffic signs are in The Netherlands, the cyclists are German and are in The Netherlands, and I, being Dutch, I am in Germany. How would it be with privacy rights of the cyclists? Dit stilleven vond ik in het gehucht Rozewerf ( over Rozewerf ). Het groene gras complementeert de rode rand van het bord (geen officieel verkeersbord), en in het paaltje complementeren blauw en oranje. Bij foto’s met een geringe scherptediepte gaat het vaak om het onderwerp wat in focus is. De achtergrond is onscherp en heeft meestal niks te maken met het onderwerp. In dit geval is dat anders. Op de foto staat een onbewaakte spoorwegovergang in het Amsterdamse havengebied. In de achtergrond staat het rood-witte Andreaskruis, een rood-witte paal met waarschuwingslicht en een rood-wit hek. Ook zijn de rails herkenbaar. Op de voorgrond is een deel van het verkeersbord zichtbaar welke waarschuwt voor de spoorwegovergang. The background is unsharp and has nothing to do with the subject. In this case it is different. On the photo a barrierless level crossing in the western harbour area of Amsterdam. In the background there is a red-white St.Andrewscross, a red-white pole with a warning light and a red-white fence. The rails are also recognisable. In the foreground there is a part of the traffic sign visible. Vandaag was de IJtunnel geopend voor fietsverkeer. Wegens een staking in het OV voeren er geen ponten over het IJ en het Noordzeekanaal, fietsers zouden aangewezen zijn op de verder naar het oosten liggende Schellingwouderbrug. Amsterdam besloot daarom de IJtunnel af te sluiten voor auto's. Voor fietsers was in elke buis één strook ter beschikking, voor hulpdiensten was de andere strook gereserveerd. Dit is vanaf Noord naar het centrum. Let op de verkeersborden. - - - Today the IJtunnel was opened for bicycles. Due to a strike in public transport there were no ferries over the IJ and over the Noordzeekanaal and therefore cyclists would have had to use the bridge Schellingwouderbrug which is further to the east. Amsterdam decided to close the IJtunnel for cars. Voor cyclists there was a one way lane in each tube, the other lane was reserved for emergency services. This is from Noord (North) to the centre.
