11773 ft/3588 m, in the southern Toiyabe Range, Nevada, and the high point of the range. It's the centerpiece of the Arc Dome Wilderness Area, which includes all the area in the picture. The drainage in the foreground is the Reese "River" (actually a creek), which rises in the range off to the right of the picture. Taken from the Cow Canyon trail, looking mostly east.

Well, yes. "River" is a stretch, particularly this time of year! Near its headwaters in the Arc Dome Wilderness area. The name is supposed to come from a 19th century scam suggesting the "river" was big enough to be navigable.
