In An Irish Kitchen

Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: SOMEONE'S IN THE KITCHEN Here's a photo of a wonderful family in their kitchen. My friend and I stayed with them at their bed and breakfast in Birr, Co. Offaly, Ireland in 1974. It's wonky so that I could fit them all in. Mr. & Mrs. Vaughn, Eilis, Joe, Brendan, Siobhan, Tom, Sheila and one more whose name I don't have.

Off the Hockley Road. Did we see a reform school or prison near here or am I dreaming this?

Brought forward for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: FIELDS, CROPS, PASTURES Rayleigh, Essex, England - on the way to Hockley. Taken with my Instamatic (if you couldn't tell.) Shortly after this I think we came upon a tiny hamlet with an old stone church.

Photobooth - Europe 1974

I like the way I've managed to fit my backpack in the booth. Don't remember if I wanted it recorded or just too lazy to take it off. I don't know what country this is but definitely in a train station somewhere.

Me and My Bubble Car

Not really, but it would have been nice. Another random picture from my closet cleaning. Taken on a 1974 trip to Europe - this is Canvey Island in England. I have no idea who the car belonged to or what it's really called - we always called them Bubble Cars. A brief wardrobe comment - this was one of my two standard ensembles - denim shirt and painter pants - the other being flannel shirt and patched blue jeans. Re-posted for the Vintage Theme Park theme of "Cars."
