Looks like they just took armfuls of fiberglass and popcorn chains and just threw them at the tree! Plus, the tree is too tall and rather than trimming the top they've just bent it and put the star lower. Pretty funny. Found photo at Vintage Inspired Marketplace, Burlington, Vermont.
