Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: COLD, FREEZING, OR FROZEN New Haven, CT, 1965. My brother was sent down the block to the store to get milk. My mother snapped this from up on the porch to send a copy to England and show them what winter was like in America. It rarely snowed in Essex, UK, when we lived there.

Taken in Fairfield, CT 1965. This was the first car my family had ever owned. It was a really big deal and it (she) was given a name. I don't remember how it got bashed up. It was beautiful when we first got it. I think it's a Lincoln Mercury but not sure.
