Found in my husband's grandparent's collection. No names or dates. I think the man standing is Robert Kinnash - pictured in another photograph in the King family album. He was wounded on September 15th, 1916 and died on September 19th, 1916.

Written on the back: Thought I was falling to pieces the morning this was taken so made an effort to brace myself up. Hence the military attitude. Someone must have said "Tion!" Ivy and Len Gregory

Wedding photo of Ivy Howard and Len Gregory. This is my mother's Uncle Len, my grandfather's brother. His granddaughter, told me that he was a fireman in civilian life and then stayed in London during the blitz in WW2 as a firefighter. In WW1 he was in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers and his dog tags give the number 40877RDF (The following from fulvue on Flickr - thank you, and thanks to art nahpro for infomation, too.) From the National Archives: Description Medal card of Gregory, Leonard Corps Regiment No Rank Royal Dublin Fusiliers 40877 Private Date 1914-1920 Catalogue reference WO 372/8 As the war went on men were placed in regiments according to numerical need, and bore no relation to their own origins. Jocks in English regiments, English in Welsh and so on.
