HFF everyone! Here's my dear friend, Amelia, on top of Mount Philo in Charlotte (the accent is on the "lotte"), Vermont, 2018. The view shows a small slice of the Champlain Valley, a slice of Lake Champlain - the 6th biggest lake in the U.S. (after the 5 Great Lakes) and in the distance across the lake are the Adirondack Mountains in New York State.

A little ferry with great charm! The ferry runs from Kill Kare State Park in St. Albans, Vermont, to Burton Island, Vermont - about 4 miles off shore.

Played around with this in Picnik (inexpertly) and what WAS a brooding sky with a storm rolling in ended up looking like Jamaica or something - but this was the only way I could get faces to show. I think this was the late 90's. This is down by the waterfront on Lake Champlain. The Adirondacks are across the Lake on the New York side.
