Postcards from the personal collection of my husband's grandparents. They had emigrated from Barrow-in-Furness where his grandfather Harry King was born. (Agnes originally came from Greenock Scotland.)
There are quite a few postcards from the north of England or Scotland that they either brought with them or relatives sent over to them.

We are just having a very severe thunderstorm worst we had for some yrs in Barrow. Hope you will have a good time in New York.
