I went down several days earlier to bring up my parent's cats to their new home. It took me three and a half *&%$%!! hours to catch them -no exaggeration - and that's in a really small house. The capture involved upturned couches, curtains askew, me bleeding despite double gloves, Scout attacking me by biting me on the leg the first time I had Laurie cornered (even though they dislike each other) and doorways blocked off with packing boxes. I was literally herding cats!! I know they were scared. I was, too. Here's Laurie spitting at me which she did every time I made eye contact with her on the six hour ride to Bristol. According to my parents they appear to have undergone personality changes for the better since then. They're far more affectionate and calm. (Not to me of course) Sometimes trauma can move things along, I guess.
