Ena, my mother's cousin. Ena's parents were Lillian Sarah Gregory and Jack Woolf (my mother's favorite Uncle.) Her younger sister was Geraldine.

Sweet Faced Girl "Baby La Fatte"

26 Dec 2008 3 374
Purchased in Middlebury Vermont in an antique store about ten years ago. On the back it says "Baby La Fatte" Is that a real name? I purchased another one (next photo) with an identical frame but an older girl - perhaps this was a girl's school?

Quebec Children

27 Dec 2008 3 419
Purchased somewhere in Vermont. I think at the Ferrisburgh flea market. This is a postcard. Print on the back says, Nap. J. Mongeau, Photo, Thetford Mines, Que. Is this a baby carriage? It's very unsafe looking if it is.

Cheery Girl

26 Dec 2008 1 1 400
Purchased in Middlebury about ten years ago. Information the same as previous picture in my stream - except on the back she is identified as Ruth Russil ( Russell)?

Self-Possessed Girl with Enormous Bow

17 Dec 2020 10 1 362
Brought forward, at Alan's suggestion, for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "ALREADY UPLOADED - ANYTHING GOES!" Choosing to ignore that ridiculous thing on her head. She looks slightly amused with the world and very composed and self-assured for one so young. Printed on the back: Poist (Feeser's Studio) 24 E. Middle Street Hanover, PA

The Emigrants

27 Dec 2008 286
Found in an old suitcase belonging to my husband's grandmother. These people were friends or relatives who apparently emigrated to somewhere in South America from Scotland or northern England. There were a few other faded pictures of them - I'll see if I can find to check if any had names or labels. Rather a dull looking bunch, I wonder if they led exciting lives.

Girl with Fancy Sleeves

Probably purchased in Vermont. Photographer's imprint on the front says "Brown"

The Girls

Given to me by a friend who purchased it in the Adirondack region of New 'york State. No identifying information.

Jackson Baby

27 Dec 2008 235
Never too young to wear a giant bow. Purchased in Middlebury, Vermont. There's a local family of Jacksons that I'm going to check with to see if they recognize this baby. I'll post if they do.

Cutie in the Window

20 Dec 2020 6 2 351
Brought forward, at Alan's suggestion, for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "ALREADY UPLOADED - ANYTHING GOES!" Purchased in Middlebury, Vermont, about 1998. It came in a very pretty blue glass art deco frame but I had a relative I wanted to put in there so... out she came! I think the frame and the picture together were $8. Good deal. There are no identifying notes.
