With a small slice of the Wall Street wall in the background, so it can go into "The Wall" album.
Joanne (on the left) is my husband's mom - her friend is probably Helen Beardsley.
I sent this to my second oldest son recently, to show him how much he looks like his grandmother, but both he and his wife were astonished at how much Joanne looks like Arya Stark from The Game of Thrones.

Back in time again (see the preceding two photos in my stream) and this time Joanne is riding away from the Wall Street wall and toward her back garden. This driveway was between her home and her grandparents home so this photo was probably taken by one of her grandparents - Charles or Sarah (Halkard) Grimshaw.
The photo is not very good and badly faded but still has charm, I think.

L to R:
May (known as Jill) Illingworth, about 17 yrs old, her sister Joan (later known as Joanne) Illingworth and their Aunt Freda who was Fred Grimshaw's 2nd wife - his first wife died in childbirth a year after they were married.
Fred and Freda lived in Texas. He died in the 1960s on a visit back east.
