Deborah Lundbech's photos with the keyword: Denmark

A picture of my father's grandparents - unseen by him until two weeks ago. in fact he hadn't even know his grandmother's name! It also shows two aunts and an uncle he never knew about. (Sofy and Elna - the uncle's name is not recorded.) Note: June 27 - Aage Lundbech tells me that this is Johannes Lundbech - the only son of the family left in Denmark. My father was amazed at how much this uncle looked like his father (Gudmund). This photo was taken in Denmark on the occasion of Marius and Karen Lundbech's golden wedding anniversary, and was posted by my father's second cousin who found our family through this photo. www.flickr.com/photos/dlundbech/4166629214/ It was thanks to Aage Lundbech (met through flickr) that we knew about Sigrid Lundbech emigrating to this country (my father's unknown aunt) and Denise, Sigrid's grandaughter then connected through the photo! It was amazing to find out that all those years we lived in Connecticut my father had first cousins, not only living in America but right across Long Island Sound from us.
