Sir Alfred has a black cross inked on the back of his coat and is the one with his back to the camera. I'm guessing this is the late 1920s? From a small collection of my husband's grandfather. Barrow, Lancashire.

Postcards from the personal collection of my husband's grandparents. They had emigrated from Barrow-in-Furness where his grandfather Harry King was born. (Agnes originally came from Greenock Scotland.) There are quite a few postcards from the north of England or Scotland that they either brought with them or relatives sent over to them.

Postcards from the personal collection of my husband's grandparents. They had emigrated from Barrow-in-Furness where his grandfather Harry King was born. (Agnes originally came from Greenock Scotland.) There are quite a few postcards from the north of England or Scotland that they either brought with them or relatives sent over to them. This one looks like it was taken in the early 1920s. The only newspaper headline I can make out says: " Football's Most Amazing Year Wolves Trainer Tells All" *Best when viewed at largest view.*
