Deborah Lundbech's photos with the keyword: vintage Springfield

Back in time again (see the preceding two photos in my stream) and this time Joanne is riding away from the Wall Street wall and toward her back garden. This driveway was between her home and her grandparents home so this photo was probably taken by one of her grandparents - Charles or Sarah (Halkard) Grimshaw. The photo is not very good and badly faded but still has charm, I think.

From L to R: Joanne (Illingworth) King, Patsy King soon to be Pat Draudt, and two unknown bridesmaids. Taken by Bernie Lashua Studio, Springfield, Vermont Circa late 1940s, possibly early 50s. A pretty wedding party - except for those horrid chin veils that were poplar for awhile back then. So weird.

This is a teeny (about one and a half inches by 1 inch) photo on a strip of 2. My husband's Aunt Patsy - his father's sister - and his Grandmother Agnes (Forsyth) King. Perhaps Patsy is showing off her new birthday bicycle.
