Yikes! visiting in California, and i almost missed this week's theme - just squeaking in! Posted for Vintage Photo Theme Park theme of "Hats." "Hats" was easy in that any vintage collector usually has a lot of fabulous hats among their photos, but hard because it's so difficult to narrow down a theme when you have many that fit and you're dying to share them all! I had no idea I'd end up with this one when I started searching - but it felt fun to give the theme a little twist. Sandy lived to be over 18 and was the cat I remember my grandparents having until we left for the States. He was a big ginger cat. (Actually, no, now I remember that Sandy had died, and they had a black cat, "Kitty".) Taken at the back door, 79 Seymour Road. 1949
