This is an early 60s English paper doll. She was a favorite of mine. For some reason I always had her as Asian in the games I played with my dolls. These are her clothes but I later supplemented her wardrobe with the orphan clothes in the next frame.

"Magnet Dolly" - Jennifer - Early 1960s, English

This is the last of my "magnet dollys". They are almost thirteen inches high and a little challenging to fit in my scanner. I don't have and never saw the other "magnet dollys" they mention. I think this was a slightly later series than the other dolls I have. Written on the back: Jennifer DO NOT PULL THE MAGNET OFF THE BACK OF THE DOLLY There are five other books in the series. Look for "Dorothy", "Gillian", "Beverly", "Hillary" and "Marion" MY Magnet Dolly Cut-Out Story Books

A donation from my cousin Pat. This is the only outfit that remains for this one. Her name on the back was "Elizabeth".

I often used to cut out the doll on the cover of the paper doll book in order to have "twins". Two for the price of one! This one's name was Susan - it was a popular name back then - I have several others with the same name.

My First Paper Doll - c1960

She was a "magnet dolly" (it says on the back) She has a magnet in the middle of her back and on the back of her clothes. Her name was also printed on the back and she came with a Storybook which I don't remember. I had two other magnet dollies but she was the first and favorite. Her name was Rosemary. I think she lost her arm in the 90s when she was played with by the girls at the school where I worked. I was really happy they loved my paper dolls too!
