A little ferry with great charm! The ferry runs from Kill Kare State Park in St. Albans, Vermont, to Burton Island, Vermont - about 4 miles off shore.

This is is much better viewed large. The name on the paddle boat is Martha's Vineyard. Written on the back are various letters that look like a child's printing. Also Sarah E. Grimshaw, #23 Wall Street. Springfield, Vermont - my husband's GGrandmother - but it wasn't ever sent through the mail - although found in her album. In small print in the middle it says: W.P.
