Written on the back: Mother & Son Agnes & Ronnie 1947. My husband's father Ron King and amazingly Agnes, Ron's mother who is over 50 in this photo! Ron came to the U.S. as a baby and when war was declared I guess you could not get citizenship - so he ended up enrolling in the Canadian Navy.

My mother and "Bill", someone she saw for one summer only. She is almost twenty-three here. What a great idea for a new Group! (Itinerant Street Photography) btw.

Caption reads: "Snapped on the way to the station to meet Rowena" I'll have to find out who this friend is. My mother is on the left. She was very proud of these pants which were fairly unusual at that time.
