Hawker Hunter 'WT720' (16) - 31 July 2018

01 Aug 2018 137
In my photographs of 7 July 2018, I reported the recent arrival at Solent Airport Daedalus of Hawker Hunter WT720 (formerly E-408 of the Royal Danish Air Force). There was work under way at Unit 67B on the evening of 31 July as a test was conducted, attaching and detaching the port wing, to ensure that any possible problems be identified before restoration continues. Craning was carried out from a DAF XF105 of MRB Transport. In this picture, the port wing has been put back next to the other after the test and some measurements are being taken. 200_3_P1070265CE
