Eurowings A320 D-AIZR with Borussia Dortmund livery approaching runway 22R at Nice. I can reasonably assume that this was the arrival of the Borussia Dortmund team for the UEFA Champions League quarter-final 2nd leg against AS Monaco (played on 19 April 2017). The aircraft had positioned DUS-DTM before continuing DTM-NCE. It then flew NCE-DUS. Shots on sunny days at Nice are difficult to take as for much of the time they are across or even into the sun. I have done what I can with a bridge camera and limited skills at both photography and editing. 200_3_P1000112CE

Eurowings CRJ900 D-ACNP approaching Heathrow's runway 27R. My ground to air photography is very much a work in progress and often more work than progress. Those who frequent Heathrow will know that 27R is not ideal for photographing landing aircraft. I was pleased to go out in the late afternoon when the sun was more nose on than side on and I used a decent shutter speed and some exposure compensation to get my mixed results. 200_2_P1000978C
