On New Years Day 2020, The Provincial Society operated an Ale & Ride event from Gosport and Fareham Bus Stations using a number of preserved vehicles. By around 11am, three buses had arrived at Gosport. Following the departure of the unique Wadham Stringer bodied ACE Cougar H523CTR with a good crowd on board a better view was available of Portsmouth City Transport Leyland Titan PD2 112/ORV989 with Provincial Leyland National 2 A301KJT. I don't think the grim setting of Gosport's shabby bus station has changed much - except to deteriorate - since People's Provincial actually operated.
