I took this two years ago with HFF in mind, then ignored it as being of little interest. But I came across it again and decided that I rather liked it! For Pam. WOOPS!!! I've done it again! After a hard day and then going onto ipernity in the small hours, I'm prone to having the odd senior moment! Please accept this as if it were late on Thursday, not Wednesday! Thank you!

Two venerable pubs on the right, the nearest one is the Dock Inn and the one with seating outside is The Dolphin. I have spent many a happy time in both over the years! St Michael's Mount is in the distance.

Penzance, Cornwall. Back streets. My grandmother lived for many years not far from here, a little way down the hill and to the right. She had great views of the harbour and St Michael's Mount. No fences though!

I used to like the Dock Inn. One reason was the fact that I would go with my Spanish brother-in-law and he enjoyed the banter with the Spanish fishermen who frequented this hostelry! But in the 20 or so years since then, It has always been shut when I pass by. So I have no idea what it is like now.

Penzance Harbour and St Michael's Mount.

Penzance, Cornwall. I used to drink in the Dock Inn many years ago (my Grandmother lived in Penzance so it was always a place to stay). My Spanish brother-in-law (my sister's husband) also liked it as it used to serve Spanish fishermen with Spanish beer and food! This summer, even though the external signs seem to indicate that the pub is still up-and-running, it looks to have closed down, sadly.
