La Cote du Granit Rose is famous in Brittany. Cornwall has one too. It's not so well known due to it not winding its way in and out of holiday resorts. It takes a bit more effort to see Cornish pink granite! (and OK, it's not quite as 'pink'; closer to orange!)

About halfway between Porthcurno and Penberth cove. APOLOGIES! I SEE THAT I HAVE DOUBLE-POSTED THIS. I would delete this second one but there are two many nice comments for me to feel good about it so i will leave it as it is but remove it from all albums and groups!

Looking along the West Penwith coast eastward from Logan Rock, past Penberth Cove, Lamorna Cove and on eventually to Mousehole. 3 hours, or 4 if you stop to take photos!

Another one of this but it's irresistible! A raincloud that had soaked everyone 15 minutes earlier can be seen scuttling away offshore. You can see the scale by the tiny figures in the surf. First posted in 2016 but worth another airing I think!
I just want to say a sad goodbye to Pano. :o( ... It's like a well-loved pet that has been poorly for a few years but is still part of the family and is at the vets and you know the end will come any minute now.
