South West Peninsula Coast Path in the St Agnes area. Man and His Man seen offshore and gorse and heather of course in the foreground. A wetter year in 2011 than 2018 (though not by much) and a better floral show.

The fierce and long early summer heatwave led to a waning of the floral display earlier than normal. But it could still produce a pleasing, if muted, show in places!

Newdown's Head and Man-and-His-Man out to sea. The fog will soon roll in. This was the last photo I could take of the gorse and heather and the sea far below before I had to walk the 20 minutes back to the car. I just made it as the fog enveloped everything.
